WHAT IS DRY ICE ?

Dry ice is the solid form of the liquid carbondioxyde gas(CO2). Dry ice, which is -78,5 C, is more intensive than the water ice and it’s freezing point is lower. Compressing carbondioxide gas discharges existing heat and the discharged heat is stored through condensers. After the storing process, the heat that gas has to gain is prevented by decreasing the pressure fast and this way, carbondioxyde gas remains as a dry ice.

Dry ice sublimates at room temperature by changing from solid to gas. In case of contacting the air and hot water with dry ice, an intense fog is procured at the time of the sublimation. It cools the demp in the air at the time of sublimation and by changing into a heavier form than the air itself, it drifts down as an intensive fog.

It has to be high pressure and low heat to change the carbondioxyde gas from gas to liquid. This enables carbondioxyde gas to transform to dry ice.

If carbondioxyde gas that located in the durable tubes and tanks freely pops out, it ejaculates loudly and the liquid form of carbondioxyde in the tanks transforms to gas. When transforming from liquid to gas, it can not take the whole energy that needed from outside and it takes the energy it needs, from itself. By this process, the gas that released free, freezes by cooling itself and this way carbondioxyde snow is obtained. If required to benefit from this process, a coldness of -78,5 C degrees is obtained.
